所有的Hot-start型Takara Taq聚合酶是抗Taq单克隆抗体和TaKaRa Taq 的混合制品，适用于Hot Start PCR。Hot Start PCR可以提高特异性，降低背景，可在室温下配制反应液。因Hot Start PCR可防止非特异性扩增，高特异性是实验成功的关键，因此是多重PCR的理想选择。抗Taq单克隆抗体在PCR反应最初的DNA变性步骤已变性，因此在常规PCR反应条件下即可使用。
